We are committed to promoting and developing the sport of Floorball at all levels of the game within our local community.
Our History
The Pakenham Floorball Club Inc. is the largest organiser of floorball activities in Victoria.
Formally incorporated as a body in September 2011, the club has its tentative beginnings in 1997. Originally started is school, the ageing participants wanted to continue to play floorball. From this, the Pakenham Floorball Club (affectionately known as The Squishees!) was born.
Since then, the club has grown to provide competitions for Under 15s, Under 19s, Womens, Mens, and Mixed. We also run training activities, development squads, and host a totally social weekly floorball 'competition'.
The Pakenham Floorball Club also has a strong presence at national tournaments, including the Australian Floorball Open.
The Pakenham Floorball Club is devoted to continuing the development of this exciting young sport, in Pakenham and across Victoria.

What is floorball?
Floorball is a type of floor hockey with five players and a goalkeeper in each team. Men and women play indoors with sticks and a hollow plastic ball with holes. Floorball was included in the World Games for the first time in 2017 in Wroclaw, Poland.
The game was invented in Sweden in the late 1960s. The basic rules were established in 1979 when the first floorball club in the world, Sala IBK was founded in Sweden. Official rules for matches were first written down in 1981.
